Snow!

Not quite 8 inches, but it looks like around 4. It has turned to sleet now. I'm staying in and enjoying a snow day. So much for Wicked!

  2. We have about 5-7 inches of snow. I think has quit snowing. I just woke up from hibernating and haven't even had any coffee yet. My eyes are not working at full function as of yet.

  3. What is that building? Is this in front of your house?

  4. Those are my only neighbors- it is an assisted living center. Pretty nice people to have as neighbors- they're quiet (except for when the ambulance has to come) and there's someone there awake all the time, so we haven't (knock on wood) had any crime around here.

  5. You can't tell it, but the walkway is gravel and steppy stones and has that scalloped edging around it- totally buried!

  8. It's everywhere, isn't it ... all that snow. Worldwide winter ...LOL
It snowed here again too last night. Just when we thought it was all over it's starting again. Sigh ...
But it's beautiful, especially when you watch it while comfortably sitting inside ;)

  10. A nice blanket of snow like that is always so beautiful and peaceful. I'm glad you don't have to get out in it today.
We've got snow coming on Monday....I hope it doesn't amount to much as we've already got loads and loads of it.

  12. Right now they are predicting 1-3 inches of snow but even the weathermen are saying it could change. It depends on so much.
My kids have had so many snow days this year that I would prefer to get our storms on the weekends. At this rate they won't have a summer at all.

  15. LOL- that's a great joke!

There isn't that much up next to the house, anyway. I didn't walk out into the middle of the yard. It is so pretty that I don't want to mess it up!

  16. Dinna just called me and said they got 12" in Brevard. They always did get hit harder than Hendersonville did. So you may have 9" out there!! That's an incredible amount of snow for you!

  17. It occurred to me later that it could be right because the sleet on top would pack it down some, too.
