Body Pump hurts worse the second time! My glutes are screaming for mercy!

  2. careful. You want to be able to stick to a routine. Don't burn them out. Just think how good you are going to feel in the long run? So many benefits to building your body. Just don't overdo it . . .

  3. I'm not stopping but I am going to mix some things up. I'm going to try body attack on Monday and probably won't do pump again until Thursday. I can lift on Tuesday by myself.

  5. Actually I didn't hurt too bad on Friday and by this morning, the only muscles that had any soreness in them were the glutes. So I guess I thought they were in good enough shape to take another beating!

  11. I did wimp out at the end of a few sets. But I'm not there to prove anything or to injure myself, just to get in shape. And the instructor told me afterward that I did good- stop and shake it out when it hurts too bad, which is what I did!

  13. Body attack is REALLY tough, but a good class! I'm so jealous!

    I asked in a previous post.....does your gym have Body Flow? If you like Yoga or Pilates, you really should do it. It's a wonderful class! I got in the best shape of my life doing it. I felt so strong and lean and TALL! I really miss it! The music was great too!
