It wasn't that bad. I was expecting to need to quit after 5 minutes. But he mixes it up so well that you don't really ever do the same thing more than twice!
And some motrin wouldn't hurt either. And stretch very good before going to bed tonight. Your muscles will have a build-up of lactic acid, stretching will release the acid and keep you from being awakened in the middle of the night with charlie horses.
Ask the trainer when are going to get to the corn-cobs. Well they aren't as bad as the "Filthy Fifty" where all of your reps are in sequences of 50's. The "Dirty Thirty" is bad enough there. It will be a very good work out for anybody that is physically able to accomplish it.
Depends which one you're talking about! haha. Oh, ok. You answered already. Yes! It doesn't take away the pain but it GREATLY reduces it .. I guess maybe it starts repairing the muscle quicker or something? I don't understand all that stuff, but all I know is it's a godsend when we have a rough workout. :)

ReplyDeleteIt is a really intense set of workouts that promise you'll be in shape in 90 days. If it doesn't kill you first!
ReplyDeleteTomorrow will not be a bed of roses, but Wednesday morning, you might need help out of bed.
ReplyDeleteBefore we went on OT, there was a trainer coming in at work 3 days a week, training with the P90X.
It does work. Most of it is actually simple stuff, we just need the motivation to keep hanging with it.

ReplyDeleteMassage and a combo of cold and hot will do your muscles good. Try to get in some light exercise tomorrow as you will need that for recovery.
