But you can get to Kathmandu safely by an airline which has never had an accident. Qatar Airways. Washington-Doha-Kathmandu daily flights And it's also possible to rent a vehicle and driver and control the driver. Most road accidents here are not accidents at all but they are caused by sheer stupidity. Please don't let safety stop you coming here. We can keep you safe. And also we have air travel here for domestic journeys and they are fairly safe.
