Description:
Ok, Cherei said some people had never heard of jello shots and asked me to post how to make them. It is too easy....
Ingredients:
2 cups boiling water
1 1/3 cup cold water
2/3 cup vodka
1 6oz package jello- your favorite flavor.
Directions:
Mix the jello with the boiling water until it has dissolved. Add the cold water and the vodka. Pour into candy molds or an 8x8 dish. Refrigerate until jelled. Cut into squares (or pop out of the molds) and enjoy!
I'm taking this to my next small group Bible study.
ReplyDeleteWe had these at my book club not too long ago!
ReplyDeleteLOL
ReplyDeleteLMAO!!! Hey.. I was just as shocked as you.. that they had NOT heard of them. Jello shots are the lifeblood of floating the river down here in San Antonio!!! Ask ANY college kid! lol
ReplyDeleteROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! omg.. PLEASE post a blog.. with pics.. for all of us!!! Thanks in advance!! lol
ReplyDeletePS.. just added this to the list!
ReplyDeleteWe have had them at many parties. They are pretty good. In fact, there are about a half dozen sitting in the back of my frig from a baby shower this summer.
ReplyDeleteNO MORE JELLO FOR ME THANKS TO CHEREI
ReplyDeleteCouldn't you just pop over and show me how to make those Janeen ?
ReplyDeleteSure Dai- on my way! (I wish!)
ReplyDeleteROFLMHOOOOO!
ReplyDeleteCherei broke me from eating Jello anymore....LOL Happy Chicken Tuesday... smiles, Kathy;)
ReplyDelete*sigh* I hate Vodka.
ReplyDeleteNeeds more vodka.
ReplyDeleteYou put more vodka, it doesn't jell. (gel?) How do you spell gel?
ReplyDeleteDoes it matter how you spell it, when you've got that much vodka on hand? ;)
ReplyDeletelol
ReplyDeleteI just make mine in one of my ice trays. Also instead of vodka, I use shnapps. or wine, or whiskey, or.....can't ya tell I've made them before! lol
ReplyDeleteI guess I wont be able to make them.
ReplyDeleteSure you can, Scott- replace the vodka with water!
ReplyDeleteErin is famous for his jello shots. He put them into individual salad dressing serving size shooters (pays to work for restaurants) So more vodka wasn't a problem. They jelled enough to slide down easily.
ReplyDeletebe easy to overdo these...LOL
ReplyDeletesomebody never had a jello shot before ????? for shame !!!!! we do ours a bit differently....i like to use rum for one (not a vodka fan) and we essentially do the jello recipe as it is only replacing the cold water for the rum - yah it's fairly toxic !!!!
ReplyDeletewe also like to put them in those lil paper cups.....like a muffin cup only smaller ?
i was doing some halloween party research too and someone had the idea of cutting up gummy worms and sticking them in ice cubes - i think they would work quite well in jello shots is what i'm thinking !
Hahaha! I came by looking for the moon, and found jello shots instead. I'm not complaining! :D
