Heard from the boy... they landed in Dubai after a 16 hour flight (left the US in the dark and arrived there in the dark). He should be in Baghdad by now.
Talked to him at 1pm today (which is 9pm Iraq time) and he was so tired. 40 hours of travel and he's finally there. He was planning to sleep and then meets his captain in the morning. Thanks for the prayers and hugs!
Thanks- it seems so unreal. He should be just down the road. And talking to him, I can pretend that he is. The phone was clear and instant- no delays like you get with the news! LOL!
will keep him in our prayers.... this will quite a chapter in his life.....
