Scott cut and I laid the tile. Now it hast to dry for 24 hours before it gets grout. That's why the board is there- we can't walk on it.
We're almost done! The tile is down and we're just waiting for the mortar to dry so we can add the grout. Hopefully today or tomorrow we'll be done!
Ah okay now I see. These are tiles and not a hardwood floor,,,and its an entranceway and not in the living room. Thats how come the cement board had to be screwed down because you laid an entire new sub floor to the area!
ReplyDeletehey it looks like a floor now ! good job.
ReplyDeleteAnd why wouldn't you???? LOL.
ReplyDeleteHe's wearing SHORTS!
ReplyDeleteWow. You two want to come over and help me? lol!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the floor.

ReplyDeleteSure! We work for food.
ReplyDeleteHe's such a hottie!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great so far. If you add more pictures, tell me so I can see the finished product.
ReplyDeleteOh, well, 50s I can understand then.
ReplyDeleteBurgers on the grill? Bottle of wine? Taters, salad? I can make more. Um, my grandma's recipe for chocolate cookies and a yellow cake with 7 minute icing? Veggie tray?
ReplyDeleteYum! All of the above!
ReplyDeleteYAY!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could borrow Scott for a weekend and do my bathroom floor...Looks like I'll be trying it on my own when the weather improves. No way I'm going to open the floor now...
ReplyDeleteGood job!!!
Thanks Kat! It was actually pretty fun, but I love home improvement projects. Still have the grout to go, but hopefully we'll tackle that tonight!
