Picture Perfect- Broken

I had a little difficulty finding a good picture this week. I don't tend to photograph broken things, I guess. This is a picture that I took as we entered the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in Montana last summer. I think of "broken" because of the way we have treated this native race- we have broken a once-proud people, given them broken land, and the broken our promises to them time and time again.

Please go here to see the host of Picture Perfect and check out some of the changes being made.

  9. Hi, nice to see your picture in here Momma. I totally agree with you. I'm a small part Seneca (Iroquois Nation) and have always been interested in how they were dealt with. Not too well... Good take on the theme.
