The Vanishing Point
The Rules of the Game are here.
I know a country laced with roads,
They join the hills and they span the brooks,
They weave like a shuttle between broad fields,
And slide discreetly through hidden nooks.
They are canopied like a Persian dome
And carpeted with orient dyes.
They are myriad-voiced, and musical,
And scented with happiest memories. - Amy Lowell
I love that whole area.
ReplyDeleteThe scenery in this whole area is gorgeous. This looks like something from a postcard!
ReplyDeleteIt does. I wish I could go there someday.
ReplyDeleteWe're usually there on Memorial Day and Labor Day- you'll just need to plan to come with us!
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful. I could walk along that path all day...
ReplyDeleteHmmmm...I'll have to talk to Art about that and check out the school schedule!

ReplyDeleteA Rockin' Heart Horse Vanishes
That's where we went camping in Virginia! But it does look a lot like the mountains in NC! (Isn't too far away, either!)

Looks like a great place to bike.
ReplyDeleteDidn't take the bike, but did walk to the end and back. We clocked it at 0.6 miles, so a trip to the top and back was 1.2 on some hills! Great exercise!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a place I would love to going walking .
ReplyDeleteIt was a great place to walk. You could go up and down hills to a red barn and back for 1.2 miles!
ReplyDeleteSounds like my kind of place.
