  1. Where did you go? Who are all these people? Nice pictures. Looks like you had a good time (but I didn't see much of you anywhere) Probably behind the camera, right?

  2. I went with the same families, to the same place that we went on Memorial Day- near Pulaski, VA. We did add David's little brother and one other family who are friends of ours, too. And my niece. 19 people in all!

  3. Oh yeah, and I have a better time when I'm taking the pictures, not people taking pictures of me!

  4. Well, it looked like you all had a good time. I haven't been camping in a long time (by choice) but I was outside looking in the camper today (does that count?).

  5. Looks like you all had fun, especially the kids.
The approx 4 1/2 years I lived in the rustic cabin with Allen killed my interest in camping (killed the rest of my interest in dating too...lol). Now my idea of camping would have to include electricity, running water and a bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. lol

  11. Yep, me too. But just imagine if that is what you had to use! (I'd stick with a tree...)

  12. It has an upstairs and a cellar. I'd still be nuts.

  13. Not us... a group from Virginia Tech did and mapped it all out- they never found the end. Lots of caverns and small arms going off- an indoor lake- but the cave starts with a 20' drop.

  15. That fireplace is over 200 years old. Belonged to the first cabin that was built on the property. It's been refurbished nicely!

  16. Wow, so many people, so much fun, so much to see. Looks like a good and relaxing way to end the summer. I love the scenery in the pictures of the Amish. And seeing all the kids playing together. Good memories for all, no doubt.

  17. She is just beautiful. And I was thinking the same thing...even though she is adopted, there is so much to her that looks just like you whenever I see her.

Just further proof that beauty is inside and out :D

  18. She's not adopted Sandy- the boys are, though. And I get that about the younger one!

  19. I swear I read an early blog of yours that says she is! Wow -- glad to hear it, because I see you every time I see her and I bite my tongue! LOL!

  21. Me too- beside a creek, down in the woods, with no phone, or tv, or anyone to bother me.... just a place to sit and read, think, and be.
